..........I think I can............I think I can.........
So far today I am at 750 calories. I still have dinner and then---that's where the trouble starts.
I think it is an unwritten rule at my house that you cannot sit on the couch without something salty in one hand and something sweet in the other. I'll have to work on this.

Windy,
Before sitting down to a meal try consuming a glass of water, a small piece of fat or eating protein portion of your meal first. These fill you up faster.
Also be sure to try and eat slowly. It takes 20 minutes for your stomach to send you a message it is full.
Again, try not to deprive yourself too much. Just watch your portion size. This will make it easier to adjust to your new eating regiment.
Hope this helps.
Keep persevering.

Windy,
Don't be too dissapointed. You're still making progress. 1/2 pound is great!
You're not alone in the problem you face. Try limiting your portion sizes if not other healthy food is available.

FFM,
That is a wonderful start! How much time set aside will depend on how much you can do. Start small and work your way up.
Keep us posted.

Windy,
Fluctuations in blood sugar can bring on headaches. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
Monica,
Instead of throwing out your fudge, why not give it to someone like a neighbor or family member?

Windy,
A few tips:
*Eating a small amount of fat before you're meal may help you feel full faster.
*Eating slowly. It takes your stomach 20 min. to realize it is full.
*Increasing your protein portion should also help you keep fuller longer.
Hope this helps.
