Hi Jacqui, I'm sorry you've hit a rough patch. I'm not going to lie - you might have several days like this but the more time you put behind you the fewer they get. There is probably something else stirring this up but it might not be obvious right now. Have you read the post "Embracing the Void"? BUT, it doesn't make sense to smoke. It never did. Remember, it is nicotine that has created this situation - it won't solve it. Plus, you've come too far. I'm sure you had bad days as a smoker and they came to pass just like this will. You've already added 3+ Days back on your life, almost $200 dollars in your pocket and 900 (900!) cigarettes that have stayed on the store shelves. That it HUGE. What are you enjoying about being quit? Hang tough, it is so worth it I promise My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/5/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 1227 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 24,540 Amount Saved: $5,521.50 Life Gained: Days: 93 Hrs: 17 Mins: 12 Seconds: 35

Yay Jacqui!!!!!! Way to keep your quit!!!!! Don't you feel incredibly proud of yourself? I hope so. Once the kiddos are settled how about giving yourself a treat? A nice hot bath, a long shower, a manicure, a pedicure, a funny movie? Jacqui, Good for you for posting. All these suggestions are great! I always like to figure out what is triggering the thoughts so I can put that particular trigger to rest, or at least be ready for it the next time. Yes, yes, yes on the reward!!!!! That has stopped some very unexpected urges for me, in the past. Fudgsicles are good ;) Keep posting. Sparky, Great visual :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 268 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 10,720 Amount Saved: $1,822.40 Life Gained: Days: 37 Hrs: 10 Mins: 30 Seconds: 30

Look at you 45 days, YES!!! Oh boy do I know where you are coming from. Don't smoke, don't smoke, don't smoke. It is so not worth it. I have been where you are at and gave in. Know what it got me besides a new quit date? I got stink again, I got to cough again, I got to lie again because I didn't want to own up to my slip then I got own up to my slip and set a new quit date. Best of all I got to go through all the withdrawals all over again. :eg: You remember those don't you? My thoughts and support are with you. DON'T SMOKE!!!
