Well done, Ginette! Just hang in there. I found things got better towards the middle of week 3. Just do everything you can to go through each hour - hot baths, sleeping, distracting yourself. You are doing great, girl! I woke up with a craving, but it wasn't too bad. I was able to handle it without too much of a problem. I do feel better today than yesterday. I'm going out later on and looking forward to that. Going over to Betty's and play cards. That should keep my mind off smoking for a while, eh? I slept this afternoon and I feel better because of it. Chewing gum right now. Doing everything to keep from smoking. Hope you all have a good smoke free day. Well, I went to my GA meeting tonight and there was only two of us there. But we made the best out of it. Harry has quit smoking too and has 6 days in now. We talked about that too. I didn't go over to Betty's. Just talked to her on the phone. That's all that I needed. I'm over the cravings now and feeling a great deal better. I'm going to spend a quiet night at home...watch some tv and listen to some music. I'm so happy that I didn't cave in. I'm pretty proud of myself right now. Hi Aloha I went out for supper tonight and enjoyed myself. Betty and I talked and it's been decided that I stay at her place tonight. So I won't be posting for a little while. Just because you don't hear from me doesn't mean I'm up to no good:) Tonight is a bit better. I'm able to breathe again and it feels good. I'm looking forward to staying at Betty's tonight. We can talk and spend quality time together. I hope Day 14 will be better than today. Anyway, it can't get much worse than it was today. Ginette, How about doing something nice for yourself before your meeting? A special meal? A nice scented bath? Rent a dvd? The cravings haven't left me...hanging in there pretty good. I went over to my friend Betty's and of all things I fell asleep on her. I woke up with this terrible craving and I got antsy and went home. I'm home now and I don't feel too bad right now. I'm really lucky Betty understands what I'm going through. I don't want to disappoint her and have a cig. She's been up to bat for me all the way and I couldn't let her down. I'm chewing gum like there's no tomorrow. I'm going to my GA meeting tonight and looking forward to that. I know the cravings will pass and I hope they do soon. It's just been horrible for me today...Day 13 is not a nice day at all. Unlucky 13. But I won't smoke and make it a reality that 13 is an unlucky number. How are you doing Alpha? Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks guys for the support. I really appreciate it.
