Three Weeks Today

17 years ago 0 1107 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
3 weeks already! I can't believe how fast our quits are adding up. If this keeps up the tobacco companies are going to start wondering what's going on. Keep it up Ginette, you're doing great. Happy New Year. Congrats on three weeks, Ginette! You've made it past all the weeks with names! :p I agree with the rest of the group about the milestone craves. Be prepared as you would any other day but don't worry so much that you make them happen. Way to start the new year! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/25/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 127 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,810 Amount Saved: $742.95 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 9 Mins: 2 Seconds: 29

Good job on your 3 weeks Ginette! Please do not worry about the 30, 60, 90 day thing. I did not have ANY increased thoughts of smoking at my 30 or 60 day marks. I hope you have some nice rewards planned! Ginette, don't even think about that 30-60-90 stuff. Some have it...some don't. I don't know who told you that you go through terrible craves at those times, but let that go. I had an emotional day at 90, but it left. Stay positive and keep your quit one day at a time. That's the secret. Congratulations on 3 weeks. That is awesome...you are doing great, girl! I'm really surprised with myself that I have 3 weeks in already. I never thought I would last that long. I'm just having thoughts about smoking, not really cravings sort to speak. Yesterday I did have a craving when I had a deadline to work on. So I'm struggling with stressors in my life. Fortunately, I don't have many of them. Being off the patch for 3 days now seems to hold not too much of a consequence for me and I'm really happy for that. I hope it continues this way. I'm not looking forward to my 30 days, 60 days and 90 days from what I gather. Apparently, you go through a terrible times with the cravings. I'm dreading those times to arrive. But, I'll have to take it one craving at a time I guess. How's the rest of the DeQuitters doing? Haven't heard from too many of you. I'm wondering how the festive season has been like for all of you. For me, it's been pretty good, but I can't stay too long in a crowd of people. I have to go home and be by myself. I was told that that passes with time. Well, hope everything is going ok for all of you. Wishing you all a Happy New Year.
