I'm really glad to hear that Jacqui. You are showing yourself that you ARE a nonsmoker. Yippee!!! Jacqui, My wife quit the day after me...she still says every day that she wants a cigarette. Our daughters have joined the cause, and refuse to get her any. I guess this makes my quit a little easier? I appreciate that you're having a tougher time quitting due to your husband still smoking. You are going to have to inform him that in 3 more days you'll be on a cruise with the rest of the Octobreathers!! He's just going to have stay home, and sit in a cloud. Hang in there Jacqui, you're worth it. I think that is pretty much true, Jacqui. It's your quit, not anybody else's. You have no control over what anybody else decides to do, nor does anybody else have control over what you decide to do. Many of us have quit with smokers in our household. Sometimes it encourages them to quit, sometimes it doesn't, but either way we are each responsible for our quits, and can take full credit for them. And that feels pretty darn good. Keep hanging in there and today or tomorrow, or one day soon you will be happy you quit again. it would be a shame to lose those 7+ weeks. My last real rough patch was around 100 days, and it was unexpected, but once I got through that, smoking has not been an option for me. I'd really like to see you get there too. So, maybe make a plan for what you will do next time hubby smokes. Maybe get a reward for yourself? Yes, unhooked....found and bumped Jacqui, Maybe take a look at Ask For Help, Put it Writing..in the Coping with Withdrawal forum. Good for family members. I know it's been difficult for the past few days, but it happens like that for a while. Things are going along, then something triggers the desire again. I really think it's important to figure out what triggered this for you, so you can address it.
