I've always had little phobias in the back of my mind, but they never caused me any trouble up until now. It wasn't until after I started and stopped using mood stabilizers that I started experiencing full blown panic attacks. Now I feel as though I might have caused permanant damage and want to see the doctor for everything under the sun.

I have to force myself not to look up physical symptoms on the net! Try to remember that a lot of stuff you will find on the web is worst case scenarios. I know it's hard but try not to self diagnose. Trust your doctors - talk to them about what you are feeling when you are worried about something being wrong with your health. The medical field has made amazing strides over the years and can do amazing things to help with any physical problems. I know this is hard to believe - I'm working on this same thing myself. I am also a hypochondriac. But, I guess all we can do is keep trying. So, hang in there and keep trying!

Young, Welcome to The Panic Center. We thank you for sharing your story with us today. This support group is full of supportive individuals who may be able to help you answer some questions regarding panic and anxiety. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physicians advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any questions or concerns with our "TOOLS" you can contact our support department at support@paniccenter.net. Take care and we hope to hear from you soon.
